The work stands as a visual statement of connection, trust, and mutual respect between the Northwest Patrol Division and the broader public.

A rough, textural base of raw Cor-Ten steel references the area’s iconic Stockyards culture and Fort Worth’s resilient past. The diverse colors and layered forms reflect the community’s rich cultural makeup, while their upward movement symbolizes forward momentum and civic support.

The overall silhouette draws directly from the longhorn icon at the heart of the Northwest Patrol Division shoulder patch—anchoring the abstract work with a familiar, meaningful symbol of unity and strength.
